Elena's dissertation research is focused on the rational design of chemical probes for protein tyrosine phosphatases that are disease relevant. Elena has always been passionate in the translation of innovative pharmaceutical research into therapeutic products.
Prior to joining Viva, she has 2 years healthcare investment experience as a student associate at Sorenson Impact Center. In her spare time, Elena likes snowboarding and traveling.

Qianyi has more than 10 years of study and working experience in the Health industry and has been engaged in venture capital since 2016.

Prior to joining Viva Biotech, Guoliang (Alex) worked at WuXi PharmaTech. And he also spent time at Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Luoxin Pharmaceutical, a domestic pharmaceutical company.
Chloe Kamps received her B.S. and M.A. from Florida State University in Economics and International Affairs, with a focus on Asian Studies and Development, and completed her Master's degree as an exchange student at Fudan University.
She previously spent time working in the Florida Senate, where she acted as a legislative aide and office manager, before going on to work in the nonprofit sector as a government advocate and event organizer. She spent one year in marketing, fundraising, and investor relations for a biotech fund before starting full time with VBI in 2018. She is also an active member of the Rotary International community of Shanghai where she regularly organizes events to benefit local causes.

Lena is responsible for conducting market analysis and due diligence, particularly in the cutting-edge areas of biomedicine. In this role, she supports research efforts that explore investment. Prior to VBI, she worked at IQVIA.

Prior to joining VBI, Ted was an Investment Manager at China Minsheng Investment Group (CMIG), where he participated in strategic investment and equity investment in medical health. Prior to that, he worked at TPP Healthcare and participated in the establishment of a cooperative medical fund with The Balloch Investment Group.
Dr. He obtained his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from The State University of New York at Stony Brook, and was a Post-doc research associate at SUNY Research Foundation.
Prior to joining VBI, Harry worked for IQVIA and New York State Center for Biotech, where he engaged in pharmaceutical management consulting. He also had 4 years of entrepreneur experience in biomaterials industry in the US.

Before joining VBI in 2021, Howard worked in a biotech VC and PwC, where he has experiences in due diligence, valuation and auditing of several healthcare funds and projects. Howard also has an exchange experience in School of Business and Management, HKUST.
